Transcription – interviews, groups, medical, legal

How can you get that research interview, that discussion, or that lecture that you’ve recorded transcribed into a written document? Better still, how can you get it done accurately and swiftly leaving you to get on with more important matters? Leave it to me.

Whether you need interviews or focus groups transcribed, or you require legal transcription or medical transcription, then I can help. I have a track record of working fast, being accurate, and understanding the English language, meaning I can pick up on idioms, trade names and slang terms that other transcriptionists may miss – or worse, transcribe as something else entirely.

I have more than 10 years of experience as a journalist and therefore understand how important accurate transcriptions are. I have also worked for a number of agencies and leading brands to transcribe market research focus groups, medical conferences and interviews carried out for inclusion in post-graduate study papers.

I am not going to make claims that I can guarantee an accuracy percentage, because every transcription is different. A 95% success rate might be great for a focus group where people were talking over each other and one of the microphones didn’t work properly, but for a professionally produced podcast, it would be unacceptable.

Instead, I will tailor my quote and work to suit your exact requirements, including how you would like the finished transcription to be produced.

Depending on what you need, you can expect to pay between £0.50 and £3 per audio minute + VAT.

The first step is to fill in as much of the form below as you can (or email transcribe@jspennington.com) and I will get back to you with a customised quote.
