Hi, I’m John Pennington. I’m a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, voiceover artist, A/V specialist and vibe coder based in the UK.
Since 2016 I’ve helped clients worldwide with clear, compelling content and reliable production support – and more recently I’ve been building fast, practical digital products and games using modern no-code tools.
I started as a journalist and digital marketer with over 10 years’ experience writing for sports, news, politics and business outlets.
I’m also a self-published author (four books on cricket and hockey) and have produced podcasts for nearly 15 years.
Along the way I’ve handled everything from live radio presenting and sports commentary to video editing, website management (WordPress, Joomla and custom systems), and technical support for events and theatre shows.
In recent years I’ve added “vibe coding” to my toolkit – rapidly prototyping apps and games that combine strategy, creativity and real functionality. This lets me offer clients not just words and audio, but working digital tools and experiences too.
