Writing Diary – 14th May

I had a bit of a break from writing over the weekend to instead enjoy the dramatic finishes to the Premier League, Formula One and Indian Premier League, although I did manage to get a few more words down on 1309 Days Later.

This week promises to be an interesting one. I need to head back to the library for the final three reports of the 2007/8 season so I can write them up, then I begin looking back on the reports I wrote from that point on so am hopeful of making some good progress.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) I am off to the Grantham Journal offices to speak with reporter Neil Graham, who is keen to make a feature about me and my work.

From Thursday to next Monday, 546 Runs Were Enough is available for free and I have no doubt the promotion will last longer than the first Test. It really is a perfect time for the local press to get hold of me, although there will be a better angle for them when the hockey book is published.

Enjoy your week!
